Fun in the Mud

What a warm start to the month of July! Here on the farm the animals have been enjoying the warm weather with the help of a few fans and added shady spaces.

The pigs have been enjoying the mud and are utilizing the natural sunscreen. To help them stay cool we have added a shade screen and spray them with water throughout the day. They are still growing and are getting big!

The second batch of broilers is being processed on the 5th! Between this batch and the last, there is plenty of meat in the freezer, so reach out to buy your chicken for the holiday weekend festivities.

We have added a few more layers to the Yolkswagon as well. We are now up to 57 birds! The baby chicks we hatched last month are growing like weeds and are showing some very beautiful feathers!
